20” x 30”. LushLino™. What is Kiribori? I am fascinated by the elegant, superb and creative craftsmanship of traditional patterns on Japanese stencil paper. Kiribori is the oldest technique; it is drill carving with a semicircular awe. This pattern was inspired by vintage kimono fabric of the Edo and Meiji period (1600-1900). I do so love the simple use of dots. It creates such a feeling of moving light, humor, and sophistication. I also have this design in runner/ YOGA mat size at 24” x 72”.
